FYI on gas valve grease

I thought ya'll might find this info useful. I did not really want to pay the $20 that TOAC charges for their valve grease. So I did an internet search trying to find either HyHeet Graphite Grease or the Tern-Eez Valve Grease. (I hate driving around town or calling stores to see if they carry something.) I found two stores that sold HyHeet, one of which sold the little tube for only about $5. Great! Then I noticed they had a $25 minimum order [img]frown.gif[/img] I checked the other shop which had a larger container for just under $10. However once I checked their high shipping cost I found it was going to cost me over $20. Same problem with the Tern-Eez. Reasonable price but the company charged almost $10 for shipping. No matter what I do, I am apparently stuck paying twenty bucks if I want my own container. Now I have even more appreciation for Sam's offer to share a tube of gas valve grease among the group.

Mark has the "communal" grease right now, and there's someone after him. You could be in line after that, if you'd like. Mark, what's the status?

I decided to just buy my own container. I am trying to get Pearl back in action and didn't want to wait for the communal grease to make its way to me [img]wink.gif[/img] However I will be happy to share my grease once I have it!
